My Mom said this was taken on 172nd Street in front of the Potato Salad/Cole Slaw Factory. She also said, "When you hung your clothes out on the line to dry, they came in smelling like cole slaw." She laughed, but she added, "No Joke."

This snapshot was taken in approximately 1934 in front of our house at 1678 Anthony Avenue between 173rd and 174th streets. Across the street is the back of 1686 Clay Avenue. The picture is looking north toward 174th street. The tall, young lady in the back is my cousin Irene Levy who has since died. To her right is her sister Helen. To her left is my older brother Harvey Kaminoff and in the front is our cousin Inez Kreisel.

Here is a snapshot of my brother Harvey standing on the stoop of 1678 Anthony Avenue. Behind him is our grandmother Rose Kaminoff. An unknown neighbor is watching with interest from 1680 Anthony. The picture is looking north toward 174th street and was taken about 1935.

This picture was taken of me in 1942. It was on 176th & University Avenue by the park benches. In the background is JHS 82 (Macomb's JHS). My maiden name was Ann Moll.

This is another picture I think you will like. It's a picture of my brother and my mother taken on 177th Street & University Avenue in 1937. You can see the well known Ruschmeyer's Ice Cream Parlor in the background before it became Luhr's.

This picture was taken of my brother Jerry Moll (on the right) and his friend Bobby Messner on the Park Benches on University Ave. around 1941. In the background you can see Olinsky's Supermarket. I remember I used love to stick my fingers in the pickle barrels.

This picture was taken of me on my 16th birthday, June 28, 1957. It was on the corner of Grand Avenue and West 176th Street. On the other side of the street in the background you can see the steep hill that led down to Davidson Avenue.

This picture of my husband was taken on March 13, 1946 when he was 21 months old in front of his grandmother's house at 1321 Rosedale Ave.

This was my father's medical intern class at Lincoln Hospital, 1927. My father is in the middle of the first row. Many of the others also practiced in the Bronx in the decades after this was taken, though sadly I can't tell you who was who. He was a GP on Beach Ave and later at 1104 Elder Avenue, and an allergist at Lebanon Hospital and at the Clinton Medical Group, an HIP site, at 2035 Benedict AVe in Parkchester (the founding members of the group went to High School together at DeWitt Clinton).

This is a picture taken sometime in the 1950's of my nephew in front of 3551 DeKalb Ave. If you zoom in on the picture you get a good view of Rochambeau Gardens behind him on the right.

--Stan Cooper
