Joe C. In which year did you graduate? '57 or '58?

Jj, I graduated January, 1958, however, I was really in the class of June'57. I missed a test and had to make it up and that why graduated Jan. 1958.
When did graduate?
We had a 50 year grad party in 2008.
The Roosevelt HS that I went to is no longer the same. In fact, the Bronx has also changed

Hi Irv, I went to school with Bill Hayden, but I really didn't know him. We went with different crowds -- he was a into a lot of activities and I wasn't; I was more of with the "tough guys". Speaking of tough guys, Dewitt Clinton was an all boys school and had a reputation of being pretty rough. I think the movie "The Blackboard Jungle" was taken from Clinton. Good to hear from someone from my generation. Joe

Hi Joe C! Glad you were mostly '57 (like me). I was hoping, because we probably knew a lot of the same kids. I could remember so many names... until recently... If you think I might know who you knew it would be nice reminiscing. There is one sweet memory that'll never disappear. Do you remember Freddie Milano and Angelo D'Aleo's beautiful voices harmonizing in the hallways between classes? We had no idea they'd be the 'Belmonts' in just 2 years. I realize our Bronx is no more, nor is Roosevelt. Sad that things change... We had a beautiful Bronx.

Jj, I remember Freddie and Angelo. Angelo was in my Italian class. We didn't know it then, but those were our "salad days". I remember Dion and the Belmonts. I knew Dion since grammar school. He always played the guitar. Dion went on to become a big star. I read his autobiography; very interesting. I went from Jr High School to TR. I graduated Jr High in 1954 and then went to Roosevelt as a sophomore in Sept. '54. We must have know each other.
If have anything else to write about, write me. Mt email address is below.
