Hi Miltonebx.Sad to sayI didn't.High School graduation left me and my friends up in the air.Working class fathers really didn't help much.Job bummed for a few years,then in '65 Sam called me up.Two years later (last one in Nam),I came home to a different Bronx.People who I knew really turned a deaf ear to us "baby killers".Work was out there,but really low hanging fruit.No,I didn't except to find a job rose garden.Most people really don't believe the crap(and lack of trust) us Nam guys/gals got.Junkies/killers was our rep..Could I have pushed,yeah but one just chases dragons of one sort or another.BTW ,one german,one Italian,and three Jewish friends,(all never served) ,only one "made"it
