There was only one movie house in my neighborhood. It was called Cinelli's Savoy. It was located near Arthur Avenue in the Belmont section of the Bronx.
Everyone called it "The Dumps". They would give away a free comic book to the first 100 customers. There also would be two figure movies and cartoons. You spent some 4 hours there. My mother would pack a lunch for me. The woman in the ticket booth would always ask your age.
I don't know if it is there or not -- I doubt it.
