I heard that Errol Flynn one time brought his date there to see one of his pictures. He was in New York, probably staying in Manhattan and wanted to go someplace where he wouldn't be easily recognized. Other theaters within walking distance were the CROTONA, DeLUXE, AVALON, TREMONT. PARADISE and the ASCOT (I never went there).
