I stood in front of a gas station on Ogden Avenue in Highbridgs waving a sign that said, "COME ON IN, THE GAS IS FINE." Most of the customers as well as all passersby laughed at me and made disparaging remarks. The owner of the gas station loved it and said I was doing a great job and gave me a raise because his business increased and he gave me credit for it. When I quit he couldn't get a replacement.
