I didn't know I had to include ALL of the details regarding my decision making. The gas station went missing 10 years later, so one has to take into account the area in front of it. The gas station itself seemed to be situated on a triangle lot, with a lot of space in front of it, which was the street in front of it. While as you stated there are areas with similar configuration of buildings the buildings themselves are different. The large building I mentioned was light-colored and the buildings to the left are smaller, dark-colored. and the same height. When one gets to looking at details the difference soon become apparent, especially when one considers the surrounding areas.
